1843
Kongens Have, butik 6, København
Like many other people who are short of money , the bankrupt
former lackey Christian Peter Bech also tried to let the match
making be his new career and way out of poverty.
And Bech had problems , for which he writes in his appeal
application that he has founded a debt to 4 people at 300
rigsdaler which subsequently increased .
He hopes that the grant will eventually improve his conditions
as the day is filled with expenditure of funds necessary for
this: "a wife resistant adorn equality, to clothes , footwear
and cleanliness, and I have to feed a adult son learn plumbing
and finally to a daughter's schooling .
Beck has received prior commitment by the pastry baker,
Firmenich to be able to rent one of her pavilions in the
fence at the Garden next to Rosenborg Castle (the King's Garden)
.
The fire department inspects the pavilion and approve this , but
can not fail to notice the unfortunate at the location with the
unbearable fumes right up to the guests in Rosenborg Garden .
On the 10th of
June 1843 the municipal authorities notifies that they
might grant Bech having to fabricate matches, if he can find
another suitable place for his project .
But Bech
then gave up his project .
