Hans Bruun started his advertisement match factory in 1934 and used in 1938 the name Tændstikfabrikken Solo. Like Zilver  Hans Bruun also advertised to be able to have the customers name written on the stick folders and included to advertise "Poor children's footwear ", which was part of the profits from the sale of his special matches.

In January 1941, the factory moved to Cæcilievej 58 in Hvidovre where in 1947 was hit by a severe fire, which developed more than necessary, partly as a result of the fire department sent fire engines all the way from Copenhagen , though the station Rødovre was closer to Hvidovre and partly as a result of the hoses at the first fire engines did not fit the fire pumps in Hvidovre.

After the fire  Hans Bruun moved the factory to Platanvej 4. Again, the plant was hit by a fire , but this time, however, the fire department quickly got the grips with the fire.

In 1953, Hans Bruun stopped manufacturing and established office in Vesterbrogade 43 , where he sold advertisiement matches , which were produced by Crown Gummed Paper.
